Securing your appointment

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the overall event cost.

We take a non-refundable 50% booking fee with all bookings to secure your appointment. If this is not paid, you do not have an appointment with us.

We may contact you to remind you once.

Beauty and Makeup by Orla understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule your appointment due to reasons out of your control. If you need to reschedule your appointment ‘Once,’ then your booking fee will still stand however, we will need you to pay the remaining balance to secure your new appointment. 

This will mean you will not have anything to pay on the rescheduled appointment

To secure your event, we take a non-refundable 50% booking fee for Weddings and Group bookings. This includes Trials, Pamper Parties and Wedding Days.

The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before your big day.

If this is not paid, you do not have your event booked with us.

Wedding time scheduling permits the correct amouth of time to complete the service. If you're late to the venue or delay the starting time, the time will be deducted from your treatment and this could result in the service not being completed and members of the bridal party not having their makeup done. 

Refunds will not occur for clients who are late. 

The client can cancel any time before the event but must inform the makeup artist. 

The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation as all booking fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given - will result in a full refund to the client.

Time scheduling permits the correct amount of time to complete the service. 

If you're late to your appointment or delay your starting time by 5-15 minutes this will be deducted from your treatment or rescheduled, depending on the treatment.

If you're late by 30 minutes, the makeup artist  has the right to cancel the booking. 

To reschedule the remaining balance must be paid before.

Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

The client has the choice to share images with the makeup artist. 

If the Client agrees then the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. 

The Makeup artist will respect any objections to photography being used for advertisement purpose.

A consultation form must be signed prior to treatment. 

Beauty and Makeup by Orla are insured by Salon Gold,  with a public liability indemnity of up to £3,000,000.

Due to safeguarding and health & safety regulations, Beauty and Makeup by Orla cannot have children in the Beauty Studio while a treatment is being carried out.

I am unable to carry out a treatment effectively if I or the parent have to monitor the child’s safety in the room.  

Beauty and makeup by Orla have the right to turn away clients if they bring children with them. 

A cancellation fee will occur due to loss of revenue. 

I hope you can understand and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Beauty studio is located in Fareham, PO155AA.

There is plenty of room on the drive for you to park. 

Please wear suitable shoes, as there is a lawn to cross to get to the beauty studio so please avoid heels. 

Our scheduling permits the correct amount of time to complete your service. 

If you're expecting to be late, please inform Orla as soon as possible.

If you're late by 5-15 minutes this will be deducted from your treatment or cancelled depending on the service. 

If you're late by 30 minutes your appointment will be cancelled and no refunds are permitted.

Children are not permitted in the beauty studio please refer back to the child policy.
