Securing your appointment

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the overall event cost.

Beauty and Makeup by Orla is under no obligations to hold a date without the required booking fee.

Booking fees are required to secure a date and protect my business from potential no-shows, cancellation fees, and loss of income from other potential clients we might have to turn down. 

Beauty and Makeup by Orla is under no obligation to refund any payment sent up until the point of cancellation, as all booking fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations made by Orla due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given - will result in a full refund to the client.

Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

Beauty and Makeup by Orla does not offer a payment installment plan.

Beauty and Makeup by Orla understands that sometimes you may need to reschedule your appointment due to reasons out of your control. 

If you need to reschedule your appointment, then your booking fee will still stand; however, you will need to pay the remaining balance to secure your new appointment time.

The client can cancel any time before the event but must inform the makeup artist. 

The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation as all booking fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given - will result in a full refund to the client.

Time scheduling permits the correct amount of time to complete the service. 

If you're late to your appointment or delay your starting time by 5-15 minutes this will be deducted from your treatment or rescheduled, depending on the treatment.

If you're late by 30 minutes, the makeup artist  has the right to cancel the booking. 

To reschedule the remaining balance must be paid before.

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

To secure your group booking, we take a non-refundable 50% booking fee, this includes weddings, trials, proms, and special occasions.

The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the event.

Time scheduling permits the correct amount of time to complete the service. If you're late to the venue or delay the start time, the time will be deducted from your treatment, and this could result in the service not being completed and members of the group not having their makeup or treatment done. 

Refunds will not occur for clients who are late. 

Due to setting up, timings, and logistics, everyone in the group will get ready together at one location. This is to ensure the event runs smoothly and everyone is ready on time. 

Bride-Only Bookings
Bride-only makeup bookings are available within a 10-mile travel radius of the artist’s location.

For locations over 10 miles away, a minimum booking of 3–8 people will be required, depending on the travel distance and overall booking requirements.

For larger bookings of 8 or more people, an additional makeup artist may be required to ensure everyone is ready on time. Alternatively, a very early start time may be necessary. This will be discussed and agreed upon when your booking is confirmed.

Wedding Day Add-Ons
Please note that the artist is unable to accommodate additional makeup requests from anyone who is not included in the original booking. This is because adding extra services on the wedding day can affect the agreed schedule and timings for the bridal party. If you are not booked for makeup but request a service on the wedding day, even if there appears to be time available, the service will be chargeable and can only be provided at the artist’s discretion.

Thank you for understanding and helping us keep your wedding morning running smoothly and on time.

 On your special day, the makeup artist will get you ready at your chosen location, whether this is at home or at a wedding venue. We'll confirm your location upon enquiry to ensure the makeup artist can travel to you before you book.  Due to logistics and timing, the makeup artist can only get the bridal party ready at one location to avoid delays. If there are any changes to your location after confirmation, please inform the makeup artist in advance to ensure they can travel to you. 

The Beauty studio is located in Fareham, PO155AA.

There is plenty of room on the drive for you to park. 

Our scheduling permits the correct amount of time to complete your service. 

If you're expecting to be late, please inform Orla as soon as possible.

If you're late by 5-15 minutes, this will be deducted from your treatment or cancelled, depending on the service. 

If you're late by 30 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled, and no refunds are permitted. 

Children are not permitted in the beauty studio. Please refer back to the child policy. 

Due to safeguarding and health & safety regulations, Beauty and Makeup by Orla cannot have children in the Beauty Studio while a treatment is being carried out.

I am unable to carry out a treatment effectively if I or the parent have to monitor the child’s safety in the room.  

Beauty and makeup by Orla have the right to turn away clients if they bring children with them. 

The client has the choice to share images with the makeup artist. 

If the Client agrees, then the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. 

The Makeup artist will respect any objections to photography being used for advertisement purposes.

A consent form must be signed before treatment. 

Travel within 10 miles is included at no extra cost. For distances beyond this, a travel fee of £0.60 per mile will apply, calculated from the artist's location. This fee is added to your invoice or final bill. 

Parking Fees: Any parking fees incurred in connection with the provision of our services will be added to the final invoice and/or final payment and will be payable by the customer

On your wedding day, the makeup artist will come with their Professional makeup kit, which includes a variety of high-end makeup, skincare, brushes, and lighting. 

The makeup artist is happy to answer any questions regarding the products in their kit. 

However, we politely ask that no one touches or helps themselves to the products in the kit, especially without consent. 

The makeup in the kit is expensive and can be hard to replace if damaged or compromised. 

Beauty and Makeup by Orla are insured by Salon Gold,  with a public liability indemnity of up to £3,000,000.
